WHO AM I?

I am Juul, founder of Lucky's Lokken.

After completing my studies in Amsterdam, I struggled to find my place in the “adult world.” I had numerous jobs and side gigs, searching for something that I couldn't seem to find.

After these various work experiences, I realized that working behind a laptop and in an office wasn't for me. I want to work with my hands!

I have had a great love and passion for dogs since I was young. In 2022, I finally found what I had been looking for all along: the grooming profession! I started by taking a grooming course in Harderwijk, and after a very educational internship, Lucky's Lokken was born.

In my own salon on the Solebaystraat 2 in Amsterdam (Bos en Lommer)
all different kinds of dogs are welcome!

Every day, I enjoy making sure that dogs can go home with their owners feeling comfortable and refreshed. The happiness and comfort of the dog is always my number one priority!

TREATMENTS

All treatments are tailored to the needs of the dog (and, of course, the wishes of the owner).

HEAD TO TAIL

  • What's included:
    Washing, drying, pawdicure.

    Depending on the coat:
    - Shaving/clipping
    - De-matting
    - Handstripping

  • I charge an hourly rate of €57.50. Because the treatments are fully tailored to the dog I have on the table, it can be difficult to give a price indication in advance. If you have any questions about this, I am always happy to answer them!

IN-BETWEEN

  • Just need a quick refresh?

    What's included:
    Wash, dry, pawdicure.

    Optional:
    Trim around the eyes.

  • I charge an hourly rate of €57.50. Because the treatments are fully tailored to the dog I have on the table, it can be difficult to give a price indication in advance. If you have any questions about this, I am always happy to answer them!

    Because there is no cutting or shaving involved in the ‘in-between’, it saves time and therefore money!

Puppy experience

  • Puppies are welcome in the salon from 12 weeks old! Don't wait too long. It is important that young puppies get used to all the sounds and experiences in the grooming salon as soon as possible.

    Standard included:
    Washing/drying, pawdicure.

    Lots of treats and cuddles so they can get used to all the procedures.

    This appointment lasts a maximum of 1 hour.

    Please note: this is not a haircut/shave appointment. (Eyes can be trimmed on request)

  • I charge an hourly rate of €57,50

Pawdicure

  • Keep those paws clean!

    Whats included?
    Cutting of the nails, shaving the paw pads.

  • A pawdicure is €15

HOUSE RULES

  • I work exclusively by appointment.

  • In the unlikely event that something comes up, the appointment can be changed or canceled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. If the appointment is changed or canceled within 48 hours, I will unfortunately have to charge for the treatment.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment so that I can devote the entire scheduled time to your dog. If you arrive late, I cannot guarantee that the appointment can go ahead, as several appointments are scheduled one after the other.

  • Make sure your dog has been walked and has done its business. However, don't walk your dog for too long, as grooming is quite intensive!

  • Make sure your dog is not sick, is flea-free, and is not in heat.

  • Owners are not welcome to stay during the grooming. This can be very distracting for the dog and can make for a stressful experience. In addition, I would like to be able to give the dog my full attention.
